The Spokane Police Department believes in transparent and accountable leadership.  The Accountability Information Management, or AIM, report is a monthly document that details the metrics of the department across several layers: unit performance measures, crime trends and response, personnel management, and fiscal spending. These performance metrics are analyzed to determine if there have been changes in performance, and if so, what internal or external factors may have influenced this change. This knowledge can then be used to make informed decisions regarding department business practices. Furthermore, the crime trend and response section of AIM will keep the community apprised not only of up-to-date crime data in Spokane, but also how SPD prioritizes their response.
